How will my items be shipped?
Once your order is ready to ship, it will be placed in custom designed packaging and delivered to you by courier. You will receive an email with tracking information as the item is dispatched, and another upon delivery.
Where do you ship?
At this time we ship to all 50 contiguous states and Washington DC.
Please note that at this time we are unable to ship Cakes/frozen products to Hawaii, Alaska, US Territories, or APO/FPO Addresses.
If this changes in the future we will let you know.
How do you ship refrigerated and frozen products?
Temperature sensitive items, such as those that need to be chilled or frozen, are carefully placed in a polystyrene lined box with ice bags. Enough ice is used to keep your delivery at the right temperature until you receive it.
Upon receiving the delivery, please immediately place in fridge or freezer. If you are away when the delivery is completed, please pay special attention to your email for confirmation that the order has arrived, and arrange for it to be taken inside as placed in a fridge or freezer as soon as possible.
How long will my order take to ship?
Shipping times vary based on the type of product and how long it takes to have it ready. Most standard items ship within 3 business days, while special order items can take up to 1-2 weeks to be ready for shipping. Once shipped, you will receive a notification from us with tracking information, and can expect to receive the delivery within 1-4 business days.
Current shipping schedule
We will ship only Mondays through Wednesdays due to the perishability of our products. So you will receive your order before the weekend. Due to high demand please allow 1-2 weeks of processing time. We try our best to get orders out as quickly as possible.

How much does shipping cost?
Shipping costs are calculated by factoring in both the weight of the package, and whether the contents are dry, chilled, or frozen. The exact cost of shipping will be displayed in your shopping cart before you place an order.
Cancelations, Refunds, and Returns?
We do our best to ensure the accuracy of every order that is shipped out. Please check the accuracy of your order upon receipt. Any errors or damaged items must be reported to us within 5 days of receipt of your order.
For health and safety reasons, food and perishable products are not returnable or exchangeable except in cases in which Oma Gisi's German Bakery shipped the incorrect item.
Returns are allowed within 10 days on perishable items that are in new and unused condition with all of the original packaging, manuals, accessories, etc. There will be no refund of shipping charges except in cases in which Oma Gisi's German Bakery shipped the incorrect product.
There will be NO refund on original shipping charges or on return shipping charges, (unless we have made an error or incorrect items were sent). Please do not send any returns C.O.D. as they will not be accepted.
If you receive damaged goods, please notify us within 5 days of receiving your order. Please, save your shipping box and packaging because it will need to be inspected by the carrier. If the box is discarded, claims cannot be filed for damaged goods or items.
Any order sent to a customer that is refused or is undeliverable will be charged the full shipping costs, including return shipping charges to Oma Gisi's German Bakery. Undeliverable packages are treated similar to orders for which an incorrect address has been provided by the customer or orders where the carrier has made three attempts to deliver and no one is available to accept the package.
If you have given us an incorrect address at the time of ordering, we will reship the order at your expense. If you don’t want the order re-shipped, you will be charged a 10 % restocking fee, plus the shipping charges.
